GreenhouseGrower.com just published an article about an interesting survey that Proven Winners conducted recently. The survey, which generated over 7,000 responses, asked gardeners a variety of questions including when they do their planning, their main sources of garden inspiration, why they garden, and several questions regarding container gardening.
One of the most interesting things to me was that 50% of the respondents said they purchase plants online. The article doesn’t state the source of the list surveyed, which could have a bearing on the results, but that’s a much higher percentage than I would have anticipated.
